Every journey has a starting point.
For Coffee & Camshafts, that starting point was Ponies In The Smokies 2025.
After the incredible response to MW2024 Cars & Coffee the previous year, we were honored to be invited back as an official Ponies In The Smokies event. It was a huge opportunity and one we certainly didn't take for granted.
What started as a simple idea to bring enthusiasts together over coffee and Mustangs during Mustang Week had now evolved into something bigger. For the first time, the event officially carried the Coffee & Camshafts name, marking the beginning of what would eventually become a growing national event series.
Needless to say, the community showed up.
By the end of the morning, more than 450 Mustangs and Ford-powered vehicles had filled the lot, creating one of the largest gatherings of the weekend and proving that the enthusiasm surrounding Coffee & Camshafts was very real.
While the name may have changed, the mission remained exactly the same.
Coffee & Camshafts was built around creating a welcoming environment where enthusiasts could come together, enjoy great cars, build friendships, connect with industry partners, and celebrate the Mustang community that has given so much to all of us.
From longtime friends reconnecting in the parking lot to first-time attendees experiencing Ponies In The Smokies for the very first time, the atmosphere throughout the morning felt exactly like what we hoped the event would become.
Authentic.
Welcoming.
Community-driven.
The turnout, energy, and support reinforced everything we believed this event could be.
One of the most rewarding parts of the day wasn't just seeing the number of cars in attendance. It was seeing the people behind them.
Everywhere you looked, enthusiasts were sharing stories, checking out builds, discussing modifications, reconnecting with old friends, and meeting new ones who shared the same passion for Ford performance.
Moments like that are exactly why Coffee & Camshafts exists.
The cars may bring us together, but it's the people that make these events special.
Coffee & Camshafts has always been built on the idea of giving back to the community, and that simply wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our partners throughout the Mustang performance aftermarket industry.
Friends of Ford once again played a major role in helping bring the event to life, alongside an amazing group of brands that believed in the vision and invested in creating something meaningful for enthusiasts.
Their support continues to be the foundation that allows events like Coffee & Camshafts to exist and grow.

The support from the entire PITS team helped create an experience that exceeded every expectation we had going into the weekend.
Looking back now, Ponies In The Smokies 2025 marked more than just another event.
It marked the official beginning of Coffee & Camshafts.
The event proved there was demand for community-focused gatherings built around authentic experiences, industry partnerships, and giving back to enthusiasts.
More importantly, it showed what was possible when an entire community rallies behind a shared passion.
What started with one event would soon grow into additional stops across Tennessee, Texas, Charlotte, and beyond.
But no matter how much Coffee & Camshafts grows, this event will always hold a special place in the story.
Because this is where it officially began.
To everyone who attended, volunteered, supported, sponsored, photographed, filmed, hosted, or simply stopped by to spend part of their morning with us, thank you.
Coffee & Camshafts would not exist without this community.
Ponies In The Smokies 2025 was the first official chapter.
And because of all of you, it was one we'll never forget.
